Bilingual Junior High School, Wiener Neustadt

We are a NÖ Mittelschule, a junior high school in Lower Austria, and are 100% funded by the state government. We teach the majority of subjects bilingually in German and English. Most of the curriculum is taught with English and German as the primary teaching languages. English is used in almost all subjectsincluding Geography, History, Physics, Chemistry, IT, Music, Physical Education, Biology and Mathematics.

To support English authenticity and fluency we also have 5 native speaking teachers as full-time members of the staff. They arefrom England, the U.S.A., South Africa and Australia. These English native speakers team-teach with ourAustrian teachers.We have 282 students and 39 teachers, a maintenance/caretaker team, extra-curricular teams, school management teams, an after-school program, a Parents Association and several student counsellors. Our school moto is "Bilingual Junior High School, taking a world view".
